August 25th Langsett Fun Day
Art in the Park Volunteers met up and ran a drawing workshop at the Langsett Fun Day. Although the wind and rain kept us on our toes at times, the Art in the Park table also enjoyed moments of glorious sunshine and was very popular throughout the day.
We encouraged people to let their imaginations run wild; drawing monsters and superheroes and writing their own fantastic comic-strips. The results were unpredictable, wild and funny. It was very satisfying to be able to be part of a bigger event, one which impressed us with the enthusiasm and cheerfulness with which it was run. For me it turned out to be a very fun day indeed.
