It was a lovely day in the woodland area of the park. The biggest (and lasting) change we made for this event was having lots more food there. There was a table heaving with all sorts of exotic breads and spreads and cheeses. We figured that if people were going to come out of doors on a Sunday afternoon then there'd better be something for them to eat. The mix of participants was also different from the first event at the Peace Gardens, as word had spread around the 'artists' of the Graden Rooms that this was an event to attend, so there were lots of people there networking and having food and occasionally one of us would have a great idea for a little arty thing to do in the woods and we'd go off and make it happen. Meanwhile others were getting on with painting at easels and spraying some grafftti and enjoying the autumnal sunshine. The piece I remember most was an archway which spanned the path from Fox Road down to the Philadelphia estate, every time a cyclist came tearing down the hill we'd have to make sure they were going slow enough ( and low enough) not to garotte themselves on our art.
