Balloonistas Part One, Edward Street Flats, September 2006
Lots of volunteers and children came to Edward Street Flats to take part in the
first of a really exciting two part event. Outside was chalking and circus
skills taking advantage of the good weather. Inside, we decorated triangular
fabric panels using a simple but effective technique called screen printing.
The results were fantastic - lots of bold and beautiful designs ready to be
sewn together to make one very unique, big balloon. Come along to the event on
the 12th November to see it filled with helium - It should be a spectacular
sight, and I for one can't wait!
