Festive Fun Day at the Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre
On 15th December 2007 Art in the Park took part in the Festive Fun Day at Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre. After the cold experience of the previous event it was a real luxury to be indoors! We had a large area in the busy children's library where we made snowflakes based on Kerry Bertram's ideas for the Hillsborough Park and Rivelin Christmas events. It was great to see everyone working together to create large snowflakes with textile, yarn, cotton wool and other materials. Everyone was so pleased with their creations that they all took them home as festive decorations.
